Yesterday, March 24th, Tukwila Pantry had a record-breaking day of service. Over 100 households came to the Pantry and received their meals!
In response to this tremendous need during the ongoing COVID-19 public health crisis, the Pantry is continuing its operations! But it can’t do that without your support. In order to further protect clients and volunteers, the Pantry is shifting operations to only hand out lunch and emergency boxes on Tuesdays and distribute bagged goods on Thursdays and Saturdays. This will ensure that we can further enforce the social distancing measures that are required by the current crisis.
The need due to this crisis is already enormous, but that need will only grow in the upcoming months. As our neighbors suffer from economic dislocation and unemployment, the Pantry will become an ever more important resource for our community. We are staying open and operational to meet that need, but we will be dependent on your support to meet the growing demand.

How can you support the Pantry at this critical time? We need volunteers on Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday mornings to ensure that food is ready for distribution on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. You can also volunteer on a distribution days. Follow us on Facebook for updates and visit our volunteer page to sign up.
I can’t volunteer. What can I do? You can still support the Pantry! Some of us can’t volunteer due to our own personal or family circumstances, but we can still help! If that’s the case for you, consider visiting our donation page to ensure the Pantry can continue operating during this critical time for our community!
My business has food that it would like to donate. How can we do that? Visit our contact page to tell us about your donation. If you can’t bring it to us, we can come get it!
Thank you for your support!
